Description

Hummingbird Hill is a charming villa located high on Gift Hill above Cruz Bay. It overlooks Pillsbury Sound, the stepping stone islands, St. Thomas and beyond. Soothing views of passing white sailboats on the azure sea, dramatic sunsets and the twinkling lights of St. Thomas at night are all part of the incomparable views.

The white stucco home is located fifteen minutes from the colorful town of Cruz Bay and set in lush tropical gardens. Stone paths meander among brightly colored tropical flowers such as fragrant jasmine, hibiscus and bougainvillea all shaded by lime, mango and papaya tees. Both native and hybrid orchids perch among the native trees. Visitors will enjoy bird watching as the hummingbirds and banana quits are attracted to the gardens.

The main house of the villa features a central living/dining room surrounded on three sides by walls of glass and screen. A fully equipped kitchen and two air-conditioned bedrooms with tiled baths are at either side. A small sleeping alcove is located adjacent to the larger bedroom and furnished with a trundle bed. All of the rooms open onto the covered gallery and tiled deck areas.

Uncovered sundecks are lined with native stone walls and connect the main house to the child proofed swimming pool with private deck for sunbathing. Just beyond is a newly constructed guestï¿½s house with a spacious air-conditioned master bedroom suite, large bath and delightful outdoor tropical shower.

Comfortable outdoor living, dining and lounging furniture abound providing many private places to relax and enjoy the sensation view.
