Maid service must be pre-arranged - one maid free for stays of 10 nights or longer, additional service at fees that vary by house and number of bedrooms used.
We stayed at Beach Garden Villa Oct. 20, 2012 for a week. We had 3 adults and 2 children (7 & 10.) The villa is even more beautiful in reality than in the pics! The architecture is stunning with every detail thought out. It looks like something you might see in Bali. The bedrooms are laid out so that each occupant has complete privacy. The villa itself is so secluded, although neighbors are not that far away you don't see or hear them with all the lush landscaping. The pool area is gorgeous and what a view of the bay! My only complaint is I wish there had been blinds on the bedroom windows as that sun shines in pretty early and it's hard to sleep if you're not an early riser! There are resident Iguanas that visit every morning, they're very entertaining! Our kids loved the hot tub and Wii game. The villa is in a good location, not far from the supermarket or town, and within walking distance (long walk) of The Weston. It was a week in paradise! Tip: do use a rental car agency that provides free parking on their lot when you go into town. There is almost no parking downtown so to be able to park at the car rental lot is invaluable. Bring bug spray, the mosquitos love paradise too unfortunately!
We were fortunate enough to spend a week at the Beach Garden in Chocolate Hole earlier this month, along with 3 other couples celebrating my birthday. I can honestly say that there is nothing I would have changed about the lovely home or its beautiful vacation on St. Johns. The house itself was just perfect...elegantly appointed with custom touches throughout, but not so 'fussy' that you needed to feel uncomfortable. All four bedrooms were comfortable and well-decorated, there were numerous areas for groups or couples to gather for conversation, reading, napping, etc. The pool was not large but we liked the size...just enough for floating or relaxing while overlooking the bay. The outdoor shower on the upper level bath was a great luxury. The kitchen, while not large, was well-stocked and fun for a group to cook together. We had many delightful dinners on the terrace, listening to the waves below. The upper level refrigerator/freezer and sink, as well as glassware etc, which was convenient for poolside. Seating on the terrace was plentiful and comfortable. There were nice breezes throughout our stay but the AC was also useful and worked well. One of the best features was the location of the property to Cruz Bay; getting to town for supplies or dinner was quick and easy. In short, I would return with a moments' notice to Beach Garden and highly recommend it for a similar gathering.
Absolute terrific villa - rented first week in April 2011 - house was perfect, beautiful condition, beautiful furnishings/tile/wood throughout...amazingly supplied. Completely serene and zen like - highly recommend it...a bit small for four couples but perfect for two maybe three!
