The property is 4 years old but it looked and felt like we were the 1st person to stay there. Kitchen is better equipped than you can imagine. High ceiling, quiet AC, good hot/cold water supply, huge bathroom and deep bath tub. I suspect that the owner is not trying to make money - the owner just enjoy decorating this property and sharing with us! It is about 10 min walk from the ferry terminal and 6 min from a supermarket. You need a rental car to move around. The staff can meet you at the ferry terminal and drive you to the property. You can rent a car in St. John.
My husband and I came here for our first anniversary during off season. The place was gorgeous, clean and modern. They catered to our requests of flowers and fruit with wine on arrival, in addition to getting a car rental and even making reservations. The staff was so helpful. We were even met at the ferry and escorted to the car rental facility. Great hospitality. The condos have everything you think of, outdoor chairs and coolers to bring to the beach, umbrellas, dishes and cleaning supplies. The location is actually a lot closer to Cruz Bay then I thought and getting around is pretty simple. The condo is actually fairly close to the store too. What a gorgeous place, again I would recommend staying here and to come back.
My husband and I recently spent our honeymoon at Sea Shore Allure. The property was IMMACULATE, our condo was perfect, and everything was amazing. The staff was so wonderful and quick to help us with whatever we needed. I would recommend Sea Shore Allure in a heartbeat. We can't wait to come back !
Decided on St. Johns for a 4 day / 3 night destination wedding...did my research...choose Sea Shore Allure after reading all reviews. Great Decision!!! This villa is THE hidden gem in Cruz Bay - close to everything. The staff will coordinate everything. Arrived on a Sunday Afternoon at St. Thomas Airport - taxi's across the island to the other side (40 mins) then boarded the ferry for a short 20 min ride to Cruz Bay. Had dinner at the villa our first night with "Chef Theodore" cooking on the premises...I would HIGHLY suggest Chef Ted - incredible meal! And a great guy as well :-) Had them coordinate a solo/local steel-drum musician to play during the meal - his name is Lemuel - what a great local talent - he played for 2.5 hours straight without a break! He definitely loves music, is very humble, and gracious - everyone said he was one of the highlights of the trip :-) We had breakfast catered poolside each morning which was perfect for our group of 21 as we had some rise early, and others sleep in. Each room at the Villa is perfectly decorated and each has a very unique marble-designed style. I'm picky about the cleanliness factor wherever I stay, and this place is immaculate. Our second evening we had our wedding at the Villa and it was also a great decision (and there was no extra charge! Caneel Bay could learn something about service from these folks!). After the wedding, we ate our post-wedding dinner at Ocean Grill - perfect!!! Would highly recommend the Ocean Grill - incredible food, and you feel like you're eating in a rain forest :-) Earlier the day of our wedding, we booked (several months in advance) a private snorkeling 1/2 day trip on the Kekoa Catamaran. Don't be fooled by the competition! The Kekoa was hand-built by its owners, and is head and tails above any other sailing/snorkeling vessel we saw on our trip - great gear, great crew, great food an drink! Our last day on the Island was spent at Cinnamon Bay Beach - big and not overly crowded. That evening we had arranged a private dinner at the Turtle Bay Estate Veranda at Caneel Bay - WOW! I realize Caneel Bay has come under a lot of negative publicity over the last several years (let their standards lapse), BUT in this case they were spot on! An incredible meal at a perfect setting!!! Probably wouldn't stay there at the resort, but the meal at dusk on the veranda is easily one of the most memorable event in the 50 years of my life - and that's not an overstatement. Hated to leave the island on our last day...Overall a wonderful trip to St. John, anchored by a memorable stay with the staff at Sea Shore Allure - wonderful, flexible, loving people with great attitudes :-) PS - We decided in advance NOT to use a wedding coordinator...SMART MOVE! We saved a bundle, and Charmaine at the Villa handled the set up for the wedding right there....she was also able to connect us to a florist nearby, and to a musician. The only "hitch" was the wedding license/official. Easily overcome... we were actually married "legally" at the court house the week prior to the trip (a 10 minute, unattended service that cost us $50) - but the REAL wedding (the union in our hearts, before our close friends and family) occurred at St. Johns. This took a lot of stress out of the trip :-))
